Our Band Room

Through the hard work of the Band and its supporters we were able to acquire the old brewery building (now called Brewery House ) in the centre of Nailsworth in 1985. This building is steeped in the history of the town, and has been carefully restored for the Band's use.

Band practice The building now houses on the ground floor the main bandroom (with visitor seating area), instrument and uniform store rooms, an office / music library, WC, entrance lobby, and reception area. The latter enables the band members to meet and store instrument cases before entering the bandroom.

the Jay Room On the first floor is a separate room (the Jay Room) which is used for the Training Band rehearsals. It is also available for hire (price on application) - please contact us for further details (see "Contact us").

The cotswold stone exterior of the building has changed little since its use as a malt house for the Nailsworth Brewery. We have provided some links in the left panel for you to learn more about the history of the building, the Brewery and Nailsworth in general if you are interested.
